still

A moment before the market.

Still combines a short daily check-in with breaks you choose. It is a personal commitment tool, not a broker connection or a trading strategy.

Make it yours

Use the small gear to customize questions, weekday prompts, trade and size reminders, lock times, and appearance. Settings stay in the current website or extension page in this browser; they do not sync between devices or between those two pages. Custom lock times need extension version 0.6.0 or newer. Saving starts a new check-in without changing an active lock.

Installation

The Chrome Web Store release is being prepared. A store installation link will appear here after approval. For the beta, download the extension ZIP, extract it, open Chrome’s Extensions page, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

Daily use

  1. Open Still in the Chrome profile where the extension is enabled, or use its toolbar icon.
  2. Answer the check-in, or choose Lock now immediately. No answer automatically creates a lock.
  3. Choose 11:20 a.m. today, 1:20 p.m. today, or 7 a.m. tomorrow. Passed times are hidden. Every time uses New York time, including daylight saving.
  4. Confirm you are flat with all pending orders canceled. TradingView pages in that browser are then redirected to Still until the deadline.

After a completed check-in, “I took my one trade” offers a lock until tomorrow at 7 a.m. It does not detect a trade. Locks persist through browser restarts. A sleeping or busy browser may process expiration after it wakes.

If the connection is missing

Use Chrome with Still enabled, then refresh the website. For a manually installed update, reload Still on Chrome’s Extensions page first. After a Chrome Web Store update, an already-open website tab may also need a refresh. Pinning is optional.

What blocking means

Still blocks access to TradingView pages in this browser. It does not close positions, cancel orders, limit contract size, count trades, or block other browsers and devices. Only start a lock after you have closed positions and canceled orders yourself. Still can be disabled or uninstalled; it is not tamper-proof. It is independent of and not affiliated with TradingView.

Your check-in responses stay in your browser. No Still account or broker login is required. Read the privacy policy for details about local data and website hosting.
